About La Boutique – Handmade Jewellery

About me and my handmade jewellery:

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Celine. I am originally from FranceĀ  but I moved to the UK in 2006 to study at University. I now live in Southsea, near Portsmouth, with my partner Will.
I started making jewellery about 8 years ago in France when making swarovski rings became popular. Everyone used to run down to our local craft shop to buy beads and jewellery making supplies. Since then I have developed my skills to many different jewellery making techniques, including weaving, wire wrapping and sculpting polymer clay.
Now making jewellery takes up most of my free time and the beads most of my home space.

All the jewellery on my website is made in the UK and by me. Every item is individually crafted and nothing is mass produced. I rarely make the same item twice. What you buy from La Boutique is unique. My handmade jewellery is created using swarovski crystals, semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, glass beads, ceramic beads, silver charms and much more. Most of my handmade jewellery is silver jewellery. I use either sterling silver or silver plate. For each item I have tried to give as much detail as possible so that you know what you are getting.

Please always handle handmade jewellery with care. Handmade jewellery is often more fragile than industrially-made jewellery. To ensure that your jewellery keeps its shine, silver items should be polished with a silver polishing cloth. Always keep your jewellery in a box to protect them when not in use. You should not shower with your jewellery. If you perfume yourself, always put your jewellery on afterwards.
